OK, the duck expert has arrived..! I won a baby duck at the Rodeo carnival where you pitch a nickel in a dish...when I was about 10 years old! I took my little ducky home in a chinese take-out container and named him "Peeky" and Peeky lived a looong life on the ranch and loved the pond. My daddy loved Peeky too..!! I will not eat duck...not even in Hong Kong when the waiter brought me Peking Duck..

So ask away about raising a duck, but doncha ask about how many "cocks" I've kept...

Hedgehogs should ideally be bought as youngsters and need to be handled regularly to stay tame. They rarely bite, but will get shy and curl up into a ball with their spikes sticking out if they are frightened. Cute little critters when they run around and explore.
They like to eat insects and it is absolutely delightful to see/hear them crunching up a June beetle. (EWW)
Hogs can run around on the floor and are more active in the evening.
They don't like to be cold and will slow down if chilled.
Housepet, not barn pet.

Hey we had 2 roosters and my little chihuaua he always barked at them ....well one day the rooster jumped my tiny dog and pecked his little headthat was it those roosters hit the barbeque Bina nobody ate em either.
We tryed to resusitate the little dogs heart but to no luck
Yep ross these feathers all have hearts and valves but those roosters had
no heads when my mom got done with them.
