Thanks to all of you - you have made this easier.

The toughest thing right now is not being able to visit. I have been trying to honor the request that there be no visitors in the hope that the restrictions will change. However, Jerry's family keeps insisting on visiting so the restrictions are getting tighter. I am trying not to be self-centered but some people being able to visit while others are trying to help by staying away is painful.

Apparently Jerry is quite uncomfortable with being on the respirator even tho he is "out". I really feel I could talk to him about all the little tricks I have learned about working with the respirator instead of against it and help him. But, honoring my sister's request that I not visit prevents the only help I feel I can be.

Thanks for letting me ramble and thank you so very much for all your prayers.

I just finished reading "Love Can Build A Bridge" by Naomi Judd. In it, she mentions about how the body, given the right mix of positive vibes, etc., can heal itself.... It is truly amazing.....

Just got this email from my sister. I guess she is weary of calling everyone. Looks like all the prayers are working.

Hi all,

Latest on Jerry...

They removed the staples from his scalp today.
Attempting to wean him from the respirator; may be off the respirator as soon as tomorrow.
Responding to requests (ie. squeezing hand, wiggling toes, etc.)
Not out of the woods as yet, watching for additional vasal spasms in the brain and/or blood clots in his arms.
Keep the prayers coming.....
