Okay.............
Okay.............
y'all just had to make me go back on my word, didn't ya? Seriously, I do appreciate you guys so much..........18 pages worth..........
No luck yet on the home tester. Apparently only one person at Cook's has the mental capacity to process this paperwork and she is on vacation (biting tongue). She should have been back yesterday, so will get back on it.
Katie (and I) survived her first day of Pre-K yesterday and are gearing up for day two tomorrow. When I asked her what she learned in school, she said "about Hebbin and Hell." (They started their day off with chapel.) Course then we had to play the two hundred question game of who is going to "Hebbin" and who is going to Hell. She is quite convinced that Marvin the Martian is going to Hell because he keeps trying to blow up the world..........heehee! and is now worried about his eternal damnation! She then said that she was going to have to be bad (like saying "stuuuu-pid [see below] and not picking up her toys and killing her Friend because she fed him too much), so that she could go to Hell and be with Marvin.............sigh! Somehow or other, I don't think she quite got the true gist of the "sermon"!
Then when I asked what else she learned, she said about "bad words." This kind of opened my eyes a bit until she explained that they went over words they're not supposed to say, like "dumb, dork, stuuuuuuuuuu-pid (wonder who contributed that one!), poop, doo-doo, idiot and bonehead (gee, wondering again NOT! who contributed those last two words!!!) Sheesh! I can hardly wait to see what tomorrow unfolds.
Much love. J. P.S. Yes, yes, Marsha, we HAVe to get together. Let's pick a date in October. Trip's birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks and that is going to preoccupy me somewhat. EEEK! He is going to be a teenager! P.P.S. Kristin......
