Ggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrr just venting

Hi Deb ~ lol, i was wheeling around my apartment the other day saying Gggggrrrr over and over. I'm so frustrated too with my doctors and Cleveland Clinic not getting things going quicker...i'm also swelling more and more and having sob and now i'm getting dizzy too. Growling helps!!

I hope someone contacts you soon and takes care of your problems.

Yeah all i can do is wait and the only real way is something
drastically happening in mean time and being ambulanced
over there and then........sometimes when an ambulance
emergency your not always taken to the hospital you had
planned on especally if you don't speak up and advocate
your wants and needs at the time...then even that doesn't
make a difference either all the time. They will send you to
a place of their choice,so it works on you can i make another
day of this the symptoms worsen and you get scared and
panic go to my Dr and with the heart failure so bad and having
to watch the swelling on ankles.......i sometimes see his worried
look in his eyes and he honestly tells me his feelings on my
condition and where i'm at with this and posts another referral
Fax.......we both GGGGRRRRRowl and wait another day.

Ross i have gone into this,in an acceptable manner
theres always answers to holidays.....return and referrals
moved now to his desk....3rd call he will be contacting your
family Dr. today......He calls but wants to speak to receptionist
My family Dr phones back only to recieve a recording all day long
he leaves a message.....not returned I call back don't stand for recordings
speak with receptionist who says he tried to contact your Dr but he
couldn,t connect and my Dr says he never called for him he chose to
speak with secretary wanting the phone no of my cardiologist in Regina
who refuses to do my surgery and it goes on and on like this for weeks
Ive asked for an appointment and get told i have to wait as he needs
to talk to my family dr first...........never happens and when he can
he doesn't try talking to him,ive spoke to the receptionist here of
my family Drs she answered and was gonna put him through to my dr
but he said in edmonton he didn't need to speak with him she could
answer his question instead,i spoke with her on fri,she said the edmonton
doc refused to speak with my dr.......so who knows maybe they want
Regina to do this surgery even when they don't feel confident in doing
so
Even cancelled an appt. this morning with my doc cus whats the sence
anymore.......nothing changes for now and i getmore frustrated.

Well Deb I think its time for you to make an appointment yourself with THIS doctor/surgeon/cardio in Edmonton so he CAN see you. I think there's something wrong when he doesn't want to talk to your own doctor - to me that doesn't make any sence.
You've waited far too long already to get any kind of answer.

I think its time to take the bull by its horns and get an appointment with this guy in Edmonton ASAP.

The papers for 1st surgery have been handed to Dr. Mcaurther
from 16 years ago and he contacted me and further contact
in 3 to 4 weeks will result in an appointment with them.

K just bout there cept couple years ago,Freddie you should
recall files got stolen and strewn all over the place,from Plains
hospital,when they shut it down,people were sitting reading
maybe you heard couple years back on the news Freddie
will we figure those are the missing ones and .....theres my
black cloud again...mine was in that bunch.
Ive heard form Edmonton though 4x"s today and they are looking
into afew more details and will call me on my cell and get at this
so whatever surgery on valves needed gets done(SOON).
Dr.in edmonton figures were never gonna get the file for my first
surgery though,even though he,s got his secretary still looking.

Heart surgery in Ontario and Quebec is very good, no waiting at all.

The Doctor in Edmonton has your 1st surgery files from 16 years ago. The rest of your files are gone from Plains Hospital in Regina - I remember that mess on the news. Damn black cloud
You also have heard from Edmonton today ......4 times they called, Now that's excellent news. Does that mean you don't have to wait 3 to 4 weeks to see this Doctor in Edmonton?

Hi Deb, I'm glad they've finally gotten back to you. I don't get what in hell they're thinking there, usually it's patient first then the paperwork. Their priorities are topsy-turvy, for sure.

Don't let miscommunication find you weak. The best way for you to get quick attention is to call 780-735-4111 and the switchboard will connect you with an Edmonton cardiologist. First get the health care you need, then worry about where to send the bill. They'll get paid, especially since you've already gotten pre-approval with your referral from the Saskatoon cardio.

Freddie i heard from edmonton 2x secretary 2x Dr and yes all they
have is top sheet from my surgery file which consiste of a whole
folder full,but everything had been tampered and destroyed and all
my cardiologist in Regina had from that mess was 1 page out of all
of it he could give to edmonton.No i won't be waiting 3 to 4 weeks
as they said they will try my main heart surgeon in Calgary who teaches
now only and see if he kept any copies of surgeries for self.
If not will be calling me with my apt.on my cell asap.

Pam I'll let you know pm as soon as i have my appt. which will be very quick
as the Doc there said we need to move on it and testings got to be done yet
Edmonton spoke with my family dr here and they are aware of my condition
not being well and my swelling,today is much,much worse than ever,but ive
had an enormous busy day today......will keep in touch when i know.
