I weighed this morning -- no change. :mad: Then I ate a light lunch and went on a strenuous hike and felt weak and faint on the return hill. Blood sugar was low, so had to chow down quickly. This is happening all too often.

Okay, it is frustrating to have to try to regulate your blood sugar as a Type 2 by eating the right amounts of the right things, and be a weekly "loser," too. I have lost 22 pounds but I think my body is trying to tell me something about my ability to shed another 20 soon.

Bottom line: I will hang around and offer encouragement when I can, but I think I am going to weigh in just the first of every month. I don't think the frustration is doing me any good right now. I will concentrate on eating a good breakfast, a substantial lunch, a sensible dinner, and healthy snacks, and getting plenty of exercise (which believe me I am getting these days)....Good luck to all!

SuperBob?. The frustration can be bad?.Weighing in every month may just be the ticket?.It is very important, as you know to keep you sugar regulated and I know that means eating, and sometimes it means eating NOW?.I have several diabetic friends and family members?..All this boils down to?..do what is best for YOU?..The weight will come off if you stay mindful of your goal and I know SuperDawg will keep you moving?Please?..Do not withdraw?.We need the powers of the caped one!!!!.....Many times I knew it was those very powers that would not let my car turn into KrispyKreme??:D

First..I think it is great that you loss 22 lbs..:D I loss 8 lbs ..first few months and maintained it until last 2 weeks.:( where now, I have gained 2 lbs back..:mad: I was trying so hard to stay away from fast-food drive thrus...but having to go with Hubby for several doctors appointments in last 3 weeks...leaving early..I fell back into old habits..:( Driving an hour down/back...)..Only choice of quick food to make the appointments on time/ect......Also..the awful weather we have had..today was nice..so I walked the dog down to pool and climbed a huge hill to meet Hubby at front gate.....did some grocery shopping and walked the dog again on way home.........After putting away groceries, laundry..around 3 P.M. my legs were really hurting..Point trying to make..too much exercise at my age..( I believe you are around a year younger:p )......Like you..until warm weather returns, Hubby thru with appointments/ect..Best to just quit trying hard to lose at this point...I did have a Lean Crusine for lunch..and chicken tonight...:) so not giving up..just wait until..I can do exercise daily..Not overdo it in one day..:eek: Plus..rain all day tomorrow and I pick up both Grandkids for an overnight tomorow.so..need to rest my legs.:p ..My age 36 year old diabetic nephew is on a pump..so you be careful. Bonnie
 
I'm NOT exercising today... It's snowing, miserable and COLD! :mad: Yesterday was gorgeous. Why, oh why, does can't the weather make up its mind?!?

However, I had a salad for lunch and carrot sticks for snack. I have the stuff to make either soup or lasagna for dinner and plan to eat a moderate portion of whichever I decide to do.

I'm thinking once a month weigh-ins might be a good idea for me too. I've been slowly creeping up on the weight (still have about a 7 pound loss, but I HAD lost 12!) and it's very frustrating. But I know it's all my fault. I'd say I'll do better, but I'm not betting on it just yet (too much stuff going on). I'll try though!

Superbob, make sure you take care of yourself. You won't do yourself any favors if you're skinny and dead! :eek:

Friday is here already and I am eager to report in before the lost pounds find me :D or I forget the figures and go have a massive breakfast of bacon and eggs :eek:
