Susan, great job.....your trip sounds wonderful.....How was the food?....What did you have?....I like the exotic, food, well most things....Would love to hear about it when you have time to share.

Susan, that's the best way to lose weight--doing something fun and interesting that just melts it away. I'm going to take sailing lessons at the end of the month/beginning of April and you've given me hope that I can do the same!

By the way, I mention my daughter's progress once in a while and she's doing great! She's 17 and 5' 8" and started at 186.2 and is down to 142.5 for a total loss of 43.7 since the start of the throw-down. She's aiming for a total loss of 50 pounds.

Thanks for the kind words and constant encouragement, Cooker, Bob and Karlynn. It's definitely getting harder, and it's nice to have help.

I now have a chocolate lab puppy -- if keeping up with that wild thing doesn't peel off pounds, nothing will!:p

Very nice:) :) ....I just love puppies.....everything about them.....from their puppy breath to their fat little tummies:D .....And yes...he/she should help work a pound or two off.....What is SuperDawg's position in this new development?:D

PJ - your daughter is doing so well!!!!! Standing ovation for her!

Susan - I'd like to follow your weight-loss plan!! I thought it was good that I was in France for 11 days, ate like crazy and didn't gain any. Looks like I need to go to China so I can lose!

SUPERBOB has a new SUPERPUPPY! Pictures - we want pictures.

I need to figure out how to do pictures online -- I am technically challenged. I will ask my son.

I also need prayers that I can keep up with this wild critter, and keep SUPERDAWG in one piece and not jealous. :)

I was wondering how SUPERDAWG was taking to the addition of SUPERPUP.

Well, I guess I can say that the food in China was really good. They eat a lot of fruit for dessert, so that may be a definite tip for the rest of us!!! We always seemed to get a plate of sliced watermelon at the end of a meal. We had a lot of chicken dishes and also lots of stir-fried dishes that had peanuts in them. The menus were hilarious....I wrote down some of their translations from various menus because we couldn't believe how funny they were:

Stir-Fried Salty Camel Hump
Deer Gristle on Nest
Grilled Hong Explosion Meat (no idea what this one is!)

My sister had been to China in 1985 and had a really hard time with the food....she existed on white rice, chocolate and peanuts, but that was definitely not the case for us!

Here in New England it's getting to be time for maple sugaring and all the sugarhouses have been opening for their March weekends of serving pancake breakfasts. Yum!!!

Hope everyone has a good week......

Susan

Camel hump? Deer Grisle? Were these the actual ingredients?

Yum.

Well, SUPERBOB has been reading his lab books this weekend. And they said that many people have observed over the years that yellow labs (that would be Sadie the SUPERDAWG) are sweet and loveable while the chocolate labs (that would be SUPERPUPPY) are the wild ones.

But (hey) to go briefly the direction Freddie thought she detected, SUPERBOB has found many wild gals to be also quite sweet and loveable. ;)
