Marguerite53 said:Well, I've dropped back down to 1.5 lbs above my lowest weight so far. Not by any exercise. My knee is a mess. I've been hobbling around and in pain and looking like an old woman who needs a cane. Very frustrating. Next week to the orthopedist if it doesn't resolve over the weekend.
Anyone here had a knee replacement? My husband is absolutely against my doing it since he thinks it means back on the heart-lung and sawing through bones. Is it really that awful?
Sorry. I digress.
Happy it is March on Saturday. Looks like it really is going to boil down to how I eat if I can't even walk!!! Already taking the sugar out of my daily coffee, put away the chocolate treat jar (empty this time). Have tossed out (or eaten) all stashes of goodies. Put a baggie of chocolate chips in the freezer for emergency chocolate fix. LImiting myself to 10 chips at a time (with a LARGE written reminder on the baggie).
Have lots of home projects going and the computer is downstairs...stairs are bad for my knee. So sorry if I'm not posting as much as I used to. trying to talk hubbie into buying a new laptop. We'll see!
Okay folks! Hope all the reports are good.

Cooker, any loss is good loss! Why discriminate against fractions??? Superbob, you're definitely doing something right, scones or no scones.
I have FINALLY attained 30 pounds lost and broken the 150 barrier, so I'm pleased to report a loss for the first time in...oh...four weeks?!?! I too will make a donation commensurate with my total loss.
Starting weight: 179
Last week's weight: 151
This week's weight: 149
This week's loss: -2
Total loss: 30
