Ton....Don't get discouraged!!!!....I have gained 1.5 in a day:D I will take the 100F....it is COLD here and Chimps hate the cold:D ....Hang in there!!!....This is a life long process....learning to eat right and changing our lifestyles.....baby steps my dear, baby steps:)

Well, I've dropped back down to 1.5 lbs above my lowest weight so far. Not by any exercise. My knee is a mess. I've been hobbling around and in pain and looking like an old woman who needs a cane. Very frustrating. Next week to the orthopedist if it doesn't resolve over the weekend.

Anyone here had a knee replacement? My husband is absolutely against my doing it since he thinks it means back on the heart-lung and sawing through bones. Is it really that awful?

Sorry. I digress.

Happy it is March on Saturday. Looks like it really is going to boil down to how I eat if I can't even walk!!! Already taking the sugar out of my daily coffee, put away the chocolate treat jar (empty this time). Have tossed out (or eaten) all stashes of goodies. Put a baggie of chocolate chips in the freezer for emergency chocolate fix. LImiting myself to 10 chips at a time (with a LARGE written reminder on the baggie).

Have lots of home projects going and the computer is downstairs...stairs are bad for my knee. So sorry if I'm not posting as much as I used to. trying to talk hubbie into buying a new laptop. We'll see!

Okay folks! Hope all the reports are good.

....Great job:) ....sorry to hear about your knee...I don't know much about knee surgery but I am sure someone will come along with some info.....10 little chips...you are a true martyr:D ...now 10 chocolate chip cookies I could go with:p

I have no great weight loss success to report this week....I am not suprised....I have indulged in many treats this week and we have three special occasions this week.....Life is full of special occasions and I just need to practice self control:mad:  :D ....I usually don't post fractions lost but I needed to encourage myself:eek:

Starting weight........233
Last Week...................201
This week....................200.5
Weekly Change............-0.5
Total Loss......................32.5
Exercise..........walked 30 minutes 4 days this week.

Ugh! I don't like my scales.  I know, I know... It's my fault. But I prefer to blame the scales! ;)

Up today. I've been awful about eating right AND exercise. So it's not like it wasn't expected. I just don't like it. :(

My scales are stuck. I have been good this week. I have drank Slim Fast for breakfast every morning,2 tangerines for a midmorning snack, a healthy lunch and dinner. I even walked for thirty minutes three days this week. No loss,no gain, still 126 lbs. I will not get discouraged and at least I am not gaining. But, I only have one more week until vacation and I know how hard it will be to control myself around all the food. We are staying at a casino for a week and my husband says he is going to use the gym everyday. He is so disciplined.

Breaking news. . .

The Man of Steel has lost 1.5 pounds this week. (If anyone finds them, please do not return. :D )

Total weight loss: 22 pounds.

Exercise: Walking SUPERDAWG (today to be joined by SUPERPUPPY), working out with personal trainer, rescuing damsels in distress, and liberating cranberry-orange scones locked in coffeehouse display cases. :)

SUPERBOB will today mail his donation to vr.com for allowing him this wonderful way to lose weight by being his silly self. :)

* This news report brought to you by CranPrune Juice, the official beverage of Cooker's Throw Down. :D

I bet Superbob gave his to me because I'm up 1.5 this week. After two weeks of good losses I was back up without any special event to cause it. Just wasn't paying attention I guess.

Congrats to Marguerite, Cooker and Superbob! Marguerite, I'm sorry about your continuing knee problems. Not being able to move sure does make weight loss difficult. Cooker, any loss is good loss! Why discriminate against fractions??? Superbob, you're definitely doing something right, scones or no scones.

I have FINALLY attained 30 pounds lost and broken the 150 barrier, so I'm pleased to report a loss for the first time in...oh...four weeks?!?! I too will make a donation commensurate with my total loss.

Starting weight: 179
Last week's weight: 151
This week's weight: 149
This week's loss: -2
Total loss: 30

Yahoooooo!!!!.....Great job:D :D

I haven't logged in for the past three weeks, as my husband and I went to China on vacation! He ate everything in sight there and gained 8 pounds! Thankfully, he could afford to gain the weight, and I who cannot afford such a weight gain actually lost 5 1/2 pounds while there. I'm not sure how, since I didn't really watch what I ate. I guess it was the walking all over creation to see the sights!!! Anyway.....here are my stats:

Starting weight: 182.5
Last weigh-in: 173.5
This week: 168

Total loss: 14.5
