Update!!!!!!!!!

Update!!!!!!!!!

My co-worker is in surgery as I write this. She went to the hospital last night, had blood tests, and thought it would be Saturday morning before she went into surgery.

We're praying that everything goes well for Nida.

When I chatted with her this morning, she said that she was born with sponge kidney disease or disorder.

She said she'll be out for 30 days. I can't wait to see her showing more energy and being healthier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GREAT News! I hope everything goes as smooth as posible and she can get on with living life to its fullest

What she said today was that she can't wait until about Sunday -- so she can "pee" again, she said.
The things we take for granted. Like being drinking however much water we want and urinating ....

Another co-worker called as I was pulling into my driveway. Nida was out of surgery. The kidney was pink and was able to produce urine.

Nida will be in the hospital for about 6-7 days.
This should give her life back.
The co-worker who was at the hospital during the surgery has given many, many hours to helping Nida over the last 3-4 years, during hospitalizations, dialysis treatments, emergencies, etc. That co-worker has been a real life-saver.

This Thanksgiving will be extra special!

Update 11-16

Update 11-16

I just overheard a progress report about Nida.
She's had some rough days, was sent back to ICU, new kidney was described as "sleepy," put on dialysis, etc.

She made it back out of ICU over the weekend and her kidney is kicking in a lot better. She's walking around the halls in the hospital 3X daily. If she continues to do this good, she may get to go home this coming weekend (11/20).

Thank you for your prayers. Nida has been overwhelmed with the volume of prayers from total strangers, and she is very appreciated. She is a very sweet lady.

Nida's home!!!!!!!!!

Nida's home!!!!!!!!!

Nida has come home!!!!!!!!!!! She's having to use a walker, not driving yet (her car has been in the company parking garage for 2+ weeks now). Her BUN & createnine (sp?) are getting into normal ranges.

I can't wait to see her back at work -- probably 2nd-3rd week of December.

Thank you so very much for all your prayers. She has a new lease on life, and I hope things go well for her.

Thanks for update, this is great news ,continue prayers in recovery
wow ,im so happy for Nida:)
