If it were me, I'd do what I have to do in regards to the extraction and deal with Medicare after the fact. I know that for some that isn't possible due to the costs of dental care but I don't think extractions cost more than a few hundred dollars each. Assuming thats what you need, extractions.

Our situations are too risky to dork around waiting for some government numbnut to make a decision as to if your going to be covered or not. You would think somebody over there would put on their "common sense" hat and pay for relatively minor dental work as a preventative measure so they don't have to look at shelling out 100K + for another OHS.

Where is my soapbox !!

Precisely, but ..........HUGE GULP........It's taking us straight into bankruptcy to do it. I've saved what people have sent me and that's just enough to cover my inpatient copayment. I still have to figure out how to deal with all the extractions and then dentures on top of that. I know I'm freaking prematurely and I'll know exactly where I stand Tuesday after talking with the ripoff artists errr I mean the financial advisor.

I did manage to work the ultrasound tech over real good. :D She told me my annie is still 3.6cm. I can do the happy dance for that I suppose. :)

How did Imiss this post? I'm glad about Annie....no growth, that's good. The teeth will work out. Do you have a dental school around you....they're a whole lot more reasonable.

No I don't and I am going to a low income clinic, but there isn't anything cheap about it. Just exam and xrays came to $216 if I paid on the way out, otherwise $309 and that's with my 30% discount. My original dentist only charged $125 for the same service.

Glad to hear that Annie is cooperating and minding her manners. Thats VERY good to hear. Now those teeth ! I think I got a spare ice skate we can use to "help" with the extraction. Im just down the road a bit from ya...:D

Glad you got good news on the aneurysm, Ross and I will keep you in my prayers for the rest.

Good news for "Annie" . Glad to hear no growth. Hope the rest of your tests are ok and you get your teeth done. Why do we always have to fight and hire a lawyer to get what is fair to begin with?????? Good luck to you Ross. Prayers!

Ross
My thoughts and prayers are with you through this difficult time. I hope you get some answers as well as some relief from your dental problems soon.

Happy to hear your Annie is not growing. I'll join you in that "happy dance"

Take care

If I can get the whole case in front of the right person, it will mean a change in the law for everyone. The law is already on the books for extractions for Pre valve replacement surgery, just not to prevent another replacement surgery. How is it saving money to wait until someones valve is wrecked before authorizing the extractions?

So no extra growth......fabulous news
Prayers continue your way also.

Ahaaa.....it was you that woke me early this morning doing your happy dance!:D...glad to hear Miss Annie has stayed the same.

Hopefully this dental nightmare is nearing its end. Eating painkillers is serious stuff and really bad for the digestive system. I ate a pack one weekend too for a dying tooth I know how miserable it is. The ER can give you a shot of lidocaine to ease the pain if you are nice to them.

Thinking of you ...
and your'e always in my prayers

Sorry to hear that you are going through such a rough time Ross.
Praying that there's a rainbow ahead,

Hugs, Yolanda
