No kidding. I'm trying to figure out why they don't have something like that today.

So am I. A small tractor could easily be adapted for winter use I'm sure, it could even be powered by it's PTO (power take off), leaving the main drive in neutral. It would just be another impliment, but it sits on it instead of pulling it ?
This time next year we'll be millionaires !!

Forget the PTO, it might as well be driven by hydraulics off the tractors pump ? Genius... And the PTO is free to run something else.

Circa 1926: This was actually built in 1926 and was known as the Snow-Motor. There is still one in a museum in Michigan.

Okay, I have never (and will never) been in enough snow to have need of one of these things. Though the mechanism is pretty neat. However, I could not get past the guy beating the horse for getting stuck in the now. Shame on him!
