I just put Gordongirl's surgery on our calendar, and I'm sure there will be another thread started for both of you before the 27th.

I hope that you are able to relax and enjoy the time leading up to Christmas. The one regret I had the night before my AVR was the amount of time I had squandered worrying about it.

You'lll do fine; just kick back and take it easy.

Just caught up with this thread.

Dr. Alan Speir at Inova Fairfax was my surgeon! He is as good as they come. And I was very pleased with the care at Inova -- the nurses, other members of Dr. Speir's team, every aspect of the care. You will be in good hands.
