So yesterday was great day, all went well during the Ross Procedure, he did great coming off the venti and all. He looks so great and was up last night with me(wife) cracking jokes. The incision looks really smaller than expected. But man oh man he looks so good I am gonna cry.
Well I am off to the hospital to cuddle with him, thanks for all the support!

A short story : having been warned I might look grey and pasty and sick, my mother and husband came in to see me in ICU immediately after my surgery, my mother stopped in the doorway and said "Oh, my God"; I think my poor DH nearly lost it at that point, until she continued "Look at her cheeks, they are so pink, I haven't seen that much colour in her face since she was about 14 !"
