The rooms for Thursday the 2nd are booked.....There are 7 remaining (in our block) for Friday and Saturday night the 3rd and 4th.....We can add more for Friday and Saturday if we need to but the place is booked for that Thursday.....
This is peak season for the leaves so if you are coming call and book ASAP!!!!....We will have a blast!!!

I am just curious as to have many are coming to make the souther VR reunion in Oct. If possible could you post in this threat.
I'll go first My name is Earline and My husband will be going with me so that's two for sure.

A week-end visit to Gatlinburg can garner us coffee, egg roll (s), and a coupon.

It appears that the closest airport is over an hour away and I don't know anyone that has a private or company plane that could land 15 minutes away
And renting a car for that distance.....well lets just say 'maga $$$$'I've only just began to look into this and its not looking to good. Wednesday and Thursday are booked solid everywhere I've checked.

You'd have to fly into Knoxville which I was told by the motel person is approx. 36 to 40 miles away. If I fly in, I'd have to fly into Knoxville too & then either take a cab or rent a car......renting a car would be scarrrry though because my sense of directions sucks! ......but, unlike the male species, I'm not afraid to ask for directions!!!

Also we might hafta time th' launch between plantin's so we doesn't damage enny crops on take off. We'll see.

Well, I've made my reservations too. I'm so looking forward to meeting you all! I've enjoyed every VR reunion I've been able to attend and I'm sure this one will be the same. My husband will probably come with me but either way, Lord willing I'll be there. It is so beautiful in the mountains that time of the year. Be prepared for a little traffic though.
