I hate to be the one to inform you of this, but it is not true. They may accept that or they may reject and sue for the total amount owed. The area hospitals here are very aggressive in collections efforts. They will sue if they think they can win. Been there with Lyns kidney surgery and was making small payments when they got crappie with me. I sought legal advice and was told outright that they do not have to accept anything less then full payment no matter how many "Good Faith" payments have been made. :(

Glad to hear you're on the mend Ross. Prayers being sent. Rest and try not to worry too much...at least right now.

Wise I try not too, but I have to stay a few steps ahead of these people. I've been involved in this game of theirs far too long. The only good thing is, that in the state of Ohio, they cannot take your home or property for medical debt.

I understand. I really do. Never have been the same straights that you have, but I have been under financial stress and it's a bad weight. I'm glad they can't take your property. Also, they still can't get blood out of a turnip.;)

Ross,
So happy to hear you have been discharged to home. What a horrible ordeal you have endured. I send prayers the worst is behind you and your healing goes well from here forward.

Sending the very best wishes.

I so hope your right. I'm very frustrated. Here it is, 2 weeks later and I should be able to get the stitches out and begin eating things other then liquids and here I sit, just the same as day one and I'm constantly checking for blood. I hope it holds this time.

Rossman!

So glad you are home! What a terrible experience! I will be praying that you are truly on the mend and home is where you will stay! I sure hope they fixed the problem. No more bleeding, please! We missed you! Many Hugs!

I was away, then got back to a PC that wouldn't start up again, with other personal issues that I had to deal with. I have my PC sort of working in a crippled way, so this is really the first I'm getting to see this. Here I thought you were peacefully recovering all this time.

So sorry that the healing hasn't gone well. Hopefully, your new packing will do better. My thoughts are with you.

Very best wishes,

Ross, So glad to hear you are home.:) Now you take care of yourself and get plenty of rest ok. Try not to worry to much, I've learned that it does'nt really change anything. We miss you but come back when your ready. Your still in my prayers.

Hey Ross

Hey Ross

WELCOME HOME ROSS!!!!
You run a tight fort around here. I am so glad that you are home and our continued prayers will be for a full recovery. We have all been so concerned for you and I for one have a renewed appreciation for your time and skills in the forums.

Welcome back!

These forums are not the same without you Ross. Glad you are home and resting.

All you can do is what you can do. If they try to take legal action then so be it. Your alive and that is what counts. You may want to find a member of your local media to get friendly with. Trust me when I say that the hospital will not want any negative press.
