thanks; so that's 529 days (or 1 year, 5 months, 11 days) from manufacture to expiry

so I'm going to conjecture that Roche aim for 18 months at manufacture.

I'm a bit nervous about all the Roche strips in the one manufacturing location basket....

Well, since all car factories are moving to USA and some bmw are 100% made in China like all the 300 series ; i think at least the Germans will be allowed to make those strips!, or maybe they also get moved to california :)

Pellicle - for strips that are so important to the millions who rely on them, perhaps your concern about the strips being manufactured in one location makes sense - although, as far as we know, there may be multiple factories in Germany that make them.

Most of the strips are made with dates 18 months or so after manufacture. Even if there's a catastrophe, I suspect that Roche can build a new manufacturing facility or move manufacturing out of Germany.

Sure, it's a concern, but at least there's an ample window to correct any manufacturing catastrophes.

Roche is big enough that they can manufacture in almost any country. I'm not particularly sure about supply issues.

Plus - if tariffs are imposed on their exports, they may start manufacturing in the United States as a way to keep the prices down.
