Al, we may have slightly different criteria for "success" at "proving" something. I guess I'd say that they're still working hard, but haven't succeeded yet, while you (reasonably) take the still-ongoing status of the study as an indication of SOME success.

In any case, to the extent that my statement was misleading, thanks for the clarification.
 
It's possible that the new study reported at http://www.news-medical.net/news/20...nts-with-atrial-fibrillation-Researchers.aspx -- "Warfarin may not be beneficial to some patients with atrial fibrillation: Researchers" -- may be of some benefit.

Note that it is NOT about patients with HVR-related needs for Warfarin, like Mechanical-Valve recipients or MV-repair patients, but about patients who are on Warfarin just because they have a-fib.
