Believe it or not I am typig on my own. Only for a few minutes a day.

I don't belieive that Randy and I were ever prepared for this amount of pain. We did not knonw any or of the perticlullars of how the surgery was gong to be because it was such a shock it tooks us by surprise. But shouldn't the doctor have explained some of this to us?

We went to the emergencry the other day and becasue the bleedng wouldn't stop only to find out that it is drainage and it isupposed to do that for a while. Long story. Tired again

Glad you're on the road to recovery and the pain will get better in time. Meanwhile I hope they can find something that is more effective for you.

Get plenty of rest and concentrate on healing.

I stayed with my parents for 2 weeks between hospital and coming home to Aledo. I remember half-reclining in the den and my dad came through, concern on his face, and asked, "Is there anything I can do for you?" I said, "Take my place," and meant it!
If I was able to sleep longer than 2 hours at a stretch, I felt more in control of the pain management.
At 3-4 weeks, the pain pretty much lifted. After that, it was more discomfort than outright pain.

Hope you get some help when you see your doctor Tuesday.
