Our outdoor thermometer reads -14 this morning! That's the actual temperature mind you... add winds of 15mph gusting to 25 mph.. and I guess it must be -35 or so with the windchill.

I think I'll hibernate today!

Buckley, my beautiful,sweet baby boy thought the sound of the wind was pretty darned cool and thought he need to stay out a little longer during his potty break - darned dog!!!!!!

But my new Wal-mart down jacket ($35) is doing a pretty good job of keeping 1/2 of my body from freezing. Right now I'd pay $400 for a pair of pants just like it.

I don't care for this 40º and slushy icky crappy overcast weather mid-winter, or any other time. Makes walking around and driving miserable and I just can't stand it.

I want wicked cold winters and wicked hot summers, anything else and I am NOT a happy camper.

Now is a good time to visit the Phoenix area. People here are complaining this week because the temps are in the mid '60's. Last week we nearly hit 80 degrees one day. Not too early to be thinking about a vacation next year.

My husband is off again with his second leg surgery. Doing great! SO we decided to go to Hawaii while he was on medical the weayhre and th water is great . I am thinking of you all. We will have to go sometime. though. I would been so much nice if I wasn't sick though fever ,cough sinus, cough. Thid what I get for taking the flu shot. I told Mike to just schoot me now. He said I would have to do it myself so he wouldn't go to jail. I think I'll have to die first to fell better!

we are having an Ice storm for the last several hrs. Cabel is on th blink. And I am in the house sick!!!!!!!!! I have used so many boxes of Puffs plus I should buy stock in it.

No fair....I'm still a kid too !!!
Just to let you know the wind picked upt otday and cleared the six inches of snow from my yard....made it easier for the kids to ride the bike !!
