UPDATE: Sunday 3:29PM

Chris's wound was closed and he was returned to the ICU at about noon. His wife believes the plan is to remove the ventricular assist tomorrow, if things continue to go well, which appears to require another OR trip and then proceed to wake him the next day. Getting closer!
