I am so glad you have found someone to work toward giving both you and Nathan the most precious gift God has ever given all of us. Keep us posted on how things go.

Lettitia

Hee hee! Did you read the whole thread? ;) We're closer to the finish line than I ever thought possible!! :D

Also, we're heading to OK this morning for a 3D/4D ultrasound! Going to see if LD's guess of Lucas looking like Nathan and Kyla looking like me is correct. She was correct about Lucas not being a girl, so who knows... :D

Thank you so much for sharing your story. It really means so much to me because my husband and I are also trying to have kids...well, until Jan 09 when I found out I needed AVR surgery. Now I know why God has not yet blessed us with the pregnancy.

We debated on which valve, and decided to go with tissue because having a child meant so much to us. If for some reason we are still unable to conceive, your story gives me hope.

I'm so very happy for you. Congratulations!!! I'll be praying for you!

Glad I could be of some help. That's one of the reasons I post here. :D (that, and because I love these guys for some reason. ;) )

Good luck!!

Darn kids! They're making sure we know early that they will be the ones running the show. Yesterday we caught glimpses of Lucas, but he was hiding behind his hand and umbilical cord. And Kyla was so wiggly all we saw was a blur! We got no pictures, and no DVD. :( The ultrasound place said we could reschedule and try again in a week or so. Now we have to figure out when that will work in our schedules. :p

I checked for your post first thing this morning! Sorry no neat photos of the little dears...Thing One and Thing Two are pretty accurate monikers if they're gonna be so uncooperative!:D

I always thought it was boy/girl twins! But probably because I'm part of a boy/girl set myself. I'll be checking in to see those 3-D ultrasound pics! Get ready for the ride of your life--two are so much fun!

Like Ross, I am keeping track. We all know that you really are prepared for 'the event' whether you realize it or not. Nature takes care of that for you. Can't wait - just like everybody else. Blessins..........

I had to have an amnio with my youngest daughter and she kept putting her hand up everytime they tried to put the needle in! We lived 40 or 50 miles away and I think I had to go 3 trimes before she cooperated! She is still very opinionated!

My 4-month-old nephew sure runs the show around here ;).

Keeping an eye on this thread, Niki ... congrats again!

Well, LD rescheduled the ultrasound for yesterday. Nathan and I decided she would go without us and we'd just get to see the pics and DVD afterward. The plan was for me to drive up after work yesterday, but the threat of snow kept me away. :p However, LD emailed us the still pics, so we at least got a preview. :) Here are Lucas and Kyla in 3D. I may be biased, but I think they're adorable! :D

Wow Niki...amazing pics...
I had a turn of your voting pool thingy~~~gee you can do almost anything on the net these days hey!...then I realised, silly me I never even paid attention to their real due date and as can happen with twins they can come early...oh well...

Congrats! I was curious what the website is you are on for the surrogacy support..my husband and I are looking into surrogacy and any information you could share would be great! Thank you

aren't they beautiful! not very long ago, parents didn't even know the sex of their baby until it was born - look today and you can see what they look like. wonderful. from the looks of them, they are not far from introduction into the world outside of their safe place.
