Hi Nancy!
I'm so glad to hear that Joe is home. I also agree with John about Cleveland Clinic. It may do some good to have some different doctors take a look at Joe. His case seems to be very complicated. The two of you need to eat and be merry for the holidays. Have a Very Merry Christmas!

Take Care!
Gail

Nancy:

Let me second John Cochrans' comments. New team, new ideas. Sounds like Joe needs all of the help he can find! (actually, I know you do the finding, he does the "getting well")

Our prayers will be with you over the next days.

Wayne and Marybeth

PS - Say hello to Wayne's twin for me!

Hi, Nancy,
So glad to hear Joe is doing o.k. after his E.R. scare. You are very dedicated, and he is so lucky to have his angel watching over him. You kindly responded to a personal e-mail of mine about a month ago (chostochondritis). Finally saw a pain specialist today, and he ordered a bone scan for next week and a low dose of elavil and a narcotic for the pain. Should get me through the holidays. Take care and you and Joe try and enjoy Christmas.

Hi Sherry-

Elavil and a narcotic should get you through the holidays floating like an angel, LOL:D I'm sure you'll feel better!

Joe has an appointment with a specialist in CHF and pulmonary hypertension at Albany Medical Center on December 30. This is a much larger heart center not too far from where we live. They're big enough to do transplants. I agree that a new set of eyes will be a good thing. This is a man that one of his cardiologists mentioned as a resource and he is the only doctor specializing in these conditions in the area. He very kindly gave us a fast appointment. So Joe is a little more "pumped" about things and so am I.

That was a good Christmas present.

I know you are happy to have Joe home again. Hope he is feeling good enough to enjoy these holidays. Peace and health to both of you.

Did you ever finish the doll dress?

A Special wish for you and Joe

A Special wish for you and Joe

May you have a Merry Xmas..and hopefully next year will be lots better for all of us. However, My Daddy has an aneurysm in his stomach and will have a cat scan done on Jan. 8th..to see if it can be removed by stent. He is age 88..so just holding my breath. We lost my Mother-in-law, my father-in-law and my Mother 3 years in a row. Just couldn't bare it to lose Daddy this coming year. So all we can do is leave it in God's hands.:) Have a Happy Xmas. Bonnie

Glad to hear that Joe is home...

Glad to hear that Joe is home...

just in time for the holidays too! :D Wishing you both the best for the upcoming new year.

I am always interested in hearing how Joe is doing as I am right behind him with my Bjork Shiley. Tell him to keep on clicking strongly.;)

Merry Christmas

Gisele

Thanks everyone.

I did finish the crocheted doll, dress, hat and high button shoes, plus a funny looking frog for my grandson, and a dog pal for my dog, and a table top bejeweled tree for another gift, and a couple of loopy boa scarves and hats for myself and daughters.

Can you tell that I need a lot of outlets???

Busy hands are happy hands.:p

An idle mind is the devil's workshop.:D

Yada-yada-yada

If things ever calm down, I won't know what to do with myself!

Man, oh, man...I don't know what else to say, Nancy, other than I'm glad Joe weathered the bump in the road. You two are in my thoughts for a very special holiday. Take care of yourself too!

Johnny

I wouldn't know what to do without you two being around these parts. I'm happy to hear that Joe is home. Good luck on the next adventure to the other place. Your certainly in my prayers, as is everyone I've encountered at this site.;)
