there is white noise and pink noise

White noise is random frequency (hiss in stereo terms) where the amplitude of the wave is equal per frequency
Pink noise is similar except it is arranged based on the musical concept of 'octaves' ... so its equal energy per octave.

The terms are used based on white light being equal energy per wavelength (looking white) and pink light being equal energy per octave (looking pink).

you may find this recording of mine something to put under the pillow too ... lots of low frequency thunder in the distance, so you may need better speakers than the phone has

I hear my heartbeat every night all night. I am in the waiting room for an on-x valve on May 23rd. I finally just learned to live with it. I figure if my heart is beating I am alive.
