Congrats on your freedom.I was never great with the lancets,so my
pharmacist came up with these disposable lancets called accu-check safe-t-pro they have low,med and high dept for varying need..I luv em alot and think there is like 5oo in pkgs so should last me a lifetime:D for now i check weekly,due to my 2nd surgery in Jan and still no magic inr....But i luv it and sounds like you do too.:) Good luck..ENJOY

Those suckers are nearly .35 cents a piece. $69.99 for a box of 200. I'll stick with my Drugmart generic 30 gauge el cheapos.
 
The 4th and 5th digits are the most sensitive, which is why I use #2 or the birdie finger. Much less sensitive there.

Yep and that was when i had a ( job),think i paid over hundred .....but they will last rest of my life im assuming.I can't get a grip on those gauge ones,for some reason.......Now i'm spoiled:D i know!!!!

Woo hoo!!! I am so jealous!!! I am waiting for my CoagUChek xs approval as we speak. They said today that probably next week I will know what my insurance will cover. Maybe you can PM me with your trial and error, or just post on this forum your trial and errors. It would be invaluable to me really.
