Ugh! I just got back from our anniversary weekend and I feel FAT. I don't even dare to step on the scale!
We left Friday morning to drive south to a secluded cabin on a ranch. Stopped for breakfast at Jack in the Box (mistake #1)... We did not eat lunch, since "breakfast" wasn't until 9:30. After arriving at our cabin we made a run to a Walmart for breakfast provisions, then went to the ONE local restaurant and ate an appetizer of olive spread on toast points, entree of Chicken Roulades w/ side veggies. (ate the WHOLE thing), shared a desert of white chocolate bread pudding. Next morning we made eggs and canadian bacon bagel sandwiches. Again, skipped lunch and at at "the" restaurant had a caesar salad and chicken fried stead w/side veggies (no desert, at least!). This morning we had our breakfast sandwiches again and headed back north to come home. We stopped on the way at Jack in the Box to have lunch. I ate a BBQ Sirloin burger and two tacos. I've felt "yuck" ever since.
Our activities over the weekend consisted of
sitting in the car,
sitting in the cabin, and
sitting on a horse... I don't think that did much to burn off all the food. This week I REALLY need to be more vigilant about eating better and exercising every day. I feel totally gross.
Sorry for the whine... Bubba, maybe you can "motivate" me to get on track?
