I changed my WW meetings and weigh-ins from Tuesdays to Saturdays...the leader is full of energy and I will stick with Saturdays though it is very early for me (8 am):eek:

Last Saturday, I was 2 lbs up...I am happy it was not more with all the cheating and eating out and entertaining houseguests!!

I hope it is better this week. Will report again on Saturday afternoon.

This response to SuperBob's comment made me laugh out loud so hard my office mates wanted to know what was going on - I'd been caught goofing off!

(Can't figure out this multi-quote thing... to put what SuperBob said and then you said in at the same post... I need some lessons!)

Anyway, so far I'm just the same as last week - a little disappointing because I don't think I really cheated - maybe a few extra almonds and a little extra cheese on my texas style egg dish - but otherwise I stayed good. Even drank seltzer and lime while I made frozen margs for my guests. Didn't touch the chips. Now that was hard - dammit! I should be rewarded for that!

Tomorrow am will be my official throwdown.... but if it is the same or if I gained well that's just life and life ain't fair as we all know! Maybe I'll lose double the lbs next week! All I know is I can't quit.

And that is the key:D
 
Time for me to go to bed. I don't think I should be listening to these things the adults are saying.
 
Stick with it. It can be really frustrating. Are you drinking LOTS of water??

I'll bring us back from the brink with this relatively boring post...

You know Karlynn, you may be on to something at least on the weekends. I drink lots of water during the week as I keep a big mug by my desk. ON the weekends I often forget. Hmmm it's an idea.

I have been really trying to cut back on my sodium - I am a recovering salt freak. I find that I don't have to make as many trips to the bathroom as I'm used too. Does that make sense? I thought salt caused you to retain water so now that I'm cutting it out (as much as I can muster. I can't change every bad habit at once) wouldn't I be going more often? I have new meds I started too this week metropolol and I know I'm not spelling it even close, but that is easier for me to remember. Plus cardio nixed some thyroid medication I was on. All of these things may have got me out of kilter - especially the thyroid medicine (for a marginally low T3 count).

OK- bedtime for Bonzo (Cooker does that mean you are in bed ? :) Sorry you had a bad week. )

That stubborn scale finally moved a bit this morning and in the right direction. Hallelujah!! I now feel vindicated for all my efforts. I'm down 1.2 for the week.

Start: 224
Last Week: 216.8
Today: 215.6
Weekly loss: 1.2
Total Loss: 8.4

Moving on down...... to the south side of 215 next week....:):cool:
