Hello fellow ThrowDowners! ... This has been a tough week for me, professionally and personally ... At these times I either fast or binge and this week has been a mixture, which is unusual for me ... I may be the same or up 1/2 pound ... I have the sliding doctor type scales (dating myself) and it just would not settle down this morning ... I hope we see some big losses this week but if not, just keep on keeping on ~ The Saddened Chimp

Starting weight..........233
Last Weigh in ............194
This week.....................192
Total Loss ....................41

Sorry to hear of your challenges Cooker. You certainly have our prayers.

I am up 1.4 pounds this week. I just couldn't bounce back from a bad start early in the week.

Cindy is holding. Hopefully we will both post losses next week. First, we have to go to Olive Garden. Cindy's 85 year old mother requested to go; how can we not?

We love Olive Garden:) ... I always tell myself, salad and breard only, salad and bread only ... it never works ... I have the works:D

My grand total birthday-meals-out weight gain was 5.5 pounds over about 10 days. I've managed a .7 loss since the high on Tuesday of 132.9. See, this is why I rarely eat in restaurants!

It'll take me about 2 weeks to get back where I need to be, even with the diuretics. Breaking the bad habit of self-indulgence will take longer.

current weight: 132.2
goal: 129 or a tad less.

That's not bad, 5.5 pounds over 10 days is not bad at all:) .... birthdays come once a year (I have two:p) so enjoy ... one day is not near time enough to celebrate ... :D... you will get back on track!

I was just telling Cindy this morning, "and I know that won't eat just salad!"
I'll just have to recover from it somehow!

Oops - forgot to weigh before I had my cereal - which of course weighs about 5 lbs.

Will try to hop on tomorrow a.m.

Cooker - hang in there. There are some weeks I'd like to put on the "would like to repeat" list and some that I put on the "Never want to repeat." Sounds like you've had the latter. Wishing you a new week filled with sunshine, bananas and prune juice!!!

I changed my WW meetings and weigh-ins from Tuesdays to Saturdays...the leader is full of energy and I will stick with Saturdays though it is very early for me (8 am)

Last Saturday, I was 2 lbs up...I am happy it was not more with all the cheating and eating out and entertaining houseguests!!

I hope it is better this week. Will report again on Saturday afternoon.

So, flip over. :D

This response to SuperBob's comment made me laugh out loud so hard my office mates wanted to know what was going on - I'd been caught goofing off!

(Can't figure out this multi-quote thing... to put what SuperBob said and then you said in at the same post... I need some lessons!)

Anyway, so far I'm just the same as last week - a little disappointing because I don't think I really cheated - maybe a few extra almonds and a little extra cheese on my texas style egg dish - but otherwise I stayed good. Even drank seltzer and lime while I made frozen margs for my guests. Didn't touch the chips. Now that was hard - dammit! I should be rewarded for that!

Tomorrow am will be my official throwdown.... but if it is the same or if I gained well that's just life and life ain't fair as we all know! Maybe I'll lose double the lbs next week! All I know is I can't quit.

Stick with it. It can be really frustrating. Are you drinking LOTS of water??
