Donuts? What are we -- cops?:rolleyes2:
I haven't been able to eat donuts for years. I have latent gallstones (they're in there, but dormant) and one time had a gallbladder inflamation. I didn't need to have it removed, but I don't want to have another flare-up. The docs told me that a low-fat diet would reduce the likelihood of any further problems, so I've been low-fat for almost 30 years. I can eat a few french fries, but if I eat a donut I taste it for the rest of the day.
I won't officially weigh in for a bit yet, as my weight is all over the scale (yeah - puns intended). Also, I won't know for another week or so just when my surgeon will release me for more vigorous exercise after my mini-surgery. I've been walking as much as I can, but that just doesn't feel the same.
All the rest of you - keep up the great work. Just remember - every pound we lose goes onto somebody else's hips. Now just imagine where you'd like it to land, and it should become easier to work off a few more calories. . .
