If I told you how many different meds I am taking, you would probably pass out...lol, but yes, I have just started on Coreg 25 mg twice daily, and I have been told that if I miss a dose for some ungodly reason, that my symptoms would get worse...therefore, I don't mess with that one, I faithfully take it and try to make sure I take it at the same time everyday..Thanks for the pointer though, It could be a combination of the meds...who knows. Coreg frequently causes the symptons you describe. The symptons usually disappear within a few weeks after starting the medication.

I have taken beta blockers in the past, at 3 different times. with different beta blockers. Each time I found they made my condition worse so I stopped them, but maybe I did not stick with it long enough.

If you correlate your symptoms with the start of taking Coreg medication and you do not see the symptoms eventually abating, I suggest you inform the doctor and he may suggest a change in the doseage or weaning off it.

I am not a physician, but you can find out a lot about your medication, interactions and potential side effects. by making a google search.

There seems to be more and more out there who are getting lousy treatment whatever the insurance coverage is...I hope that you don't think that I was pointing the finger at those who do have good insurance, I was pointing the finger at the doctors who bill the insurance and/or medicaid. Excellent care is available. But it takes some research to find the best and when you find them, stay with them. It also takes a good relationship on both sides. It is a partnership.

Don't just "settle" for sloppy care. Aspire to the best. If one doesn't work out, seek someone who will be helpful.

There really are excellent doctors available.

I have been looking for other doctors. I am going to see another cardiologist on the 3rd of February and I am praying that he will do better by me than this one. I do however feel though as if my area is running out of cardiologists and primary care docs, and where I do not have a car right now, well it kind of limits me even more. I haven't given up hope, but it is getting harder and harder...especially when you have friends who are wondering why I don't just accept the fact that the docs are right and just settle for what answers I have been given, which I don't want to do because I know my own body and I know when something is wrong...so why should I just accept any old answer and live with it...? This is one issue that is/has been driving me crazy....Thanks for your encouragement...How is your hubby feeling? My husband is actually improving each day. He spent most of the day outside, working in the yard. For him, that is a miracle. Last year at this time, he was an extremely ill man.
