Dick0236 You are certainly the Captain of this site. May I be fortunate enough to get the longevity out of my valve as you have yours and may I also be as inspirational as you have been for all of us here.. Congrats and may you enjoy many more Birthdays. Thanks for all you do.

Thank you Dick! You have made me reconsider my ánti' stance on warfarin / mechanical valves for myself up until this point. I've just turned 30, have a four year old porcine aortic valve and a future holding more than one additional heart surgery is not a tempting one! Thanks for your words 
I know I am very late giving you a congratulations, but I also had to thank you for what you do here.
I am coming up on two years, and your posts have helped by answering questions I sometimes have. I didn't find this site until after my surgery, but I do check in regularly.
