Dick0236 You are certainly the Captain of this site. May I be fortunate enough to get the longevity out of my valve as you have yours and may I also be as inspirational as you have been for all of us here.. Congrats and may you enjoy many more Birthdays. Thanks for all you do.

Thank you ****! You have made me reconsider my ánti' stance on warfarin / mechanical valves for myself up until this point. I've just turned 30, have a four year old porcine aortic valve and a future holding more than one additional heart surgery is not a tempting one! Thanks for your words 
I know I am very late giving you a congratulations, but I also had to thank you for what you do here.
I am coming up on two years, and your posts have helped by answering questions I sometimes have. I didn't find this site until after my surgery, but I do check in regularly.
