This is what her daughter just wrote an hour ago:
Hey guys.. this is Chelsey, Zippers daughter.. i was jus informed, you are not going to believe this... but the surgery was cancelled due to some emergencies with other patients.. mom was all ready to go today and this happened.. AGAIN! unbelievable! i tried to register here so i can let u all know.. but appaerntly my email has been banned? lol... so im logging in with moms to inform you all, not sure how to start new topic so maybe one of you may want to! thanks for all your support guys!

Yes, originally they double booked her for Monday and Tuesday.....the intention is that she gets operated either way.
Sorry for the latest delay... Prayers are continuing.

I just got off the phone with Dale - her surgery is cancelled until Thursday, but they are keeping her there !
They both seem to be doing OK with it - I would be freaking out!!!

Thanks for letting us know Jeanette, how frustrating, but I'm one of those who believe that things happen for a reason and you end up having the surgery when it is best for you. (well that's what I always tell myself when Justin's surgery have been postponed a few times)
Does her hopsitals do transplants? Justin has been bumped for thise a couple times.

Word! I just finished speaking to Zip and she's got the patience of Job. She was busy holding the nurses emotionally together (along with her pants up ) when they all got the news this morning. She and Dale are in good spirits and not pulling their hair out yet.
So, I'm not going to post any running commentary until I get the text from Dale that she's actually gone through the double doors to the OR suite. That way I won't be jinxing her.

She has been through so much. Surely this all means she'll have a successful surgery and good recovery. She has waited so patiently. Fingers and toes crossed for Zip.
