Tomorrow is Valentine's Day, so to go along with its theme, what's your favorite movie about love? I couldn't pick just one, so don't worry if you can't either! My favorites:
1. Casablanca
2. Notorious
3. Shakespeare in Love
4. A Man and A Woman

I've always been a sucker for Dirty Dancing. And for a real tear-jerker (although probably not best viewed the week before your S.O. has open heart surgery like I did:rolleyes: ), Untamed Heart. And more recently, The Wedding Singer. I'm sure there are others I've enjoyed just as much but I can't think of them right now.

Gemma,

I LOVE Untamed Heart which is a movie few people have ever heard of.

A couple of others:

Notting Hill - has the best last 15 minutes of any movie I have ever seen.
When Harry Met Sally - an interesting love story but one nonetheless
Bed of Roses - Christian Slater seems to gravitate towards these movies.
Fools Rush In - kind of quirky but cute.

So many others but I will yield the floor.

The Notebook

If you haven't seen it - get it! It has James Garner and Genna Rowlands. It's a real touching story.

Sebrena (sp)?Last one with Harrison Ford . Pretty woman...Sleepless in Seattle.........Asked Hubby..he says..Casablanca........B/T/W..He came home with flowers and a bottle of wine for me tonight.:) How sweet..Will celebrate our 40th ann. this Sept..:) :) Bonnie

K...this isnt a real lovey dovey one, But i saw it lately and LOVED it, plus it does involve true romance between the local couple...........Has anyone seen
"Into the Blue".....if u havent, i do recommend it, and if u dont like it you will at least love the scenery......Enjoy.

I know it's not known for its

I know it's not known for its

eroticism, but I love The Sound of Music - when Captain VonTrapp is teaching Maria to dance and they stop dancing and gaze into one another's eyes...I still love the romance in the movie even though I read that Maria VonTrapp fell more in love with the children she was caring for. :(

Also Crossing Delancy (sp?).

Oh and how could I forget The Thorn Birds. :)~

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE!!

RCB:
I liked the novella more than I liked the film. The acting stunk. My husband didn't like the film at all. Does that make him an immature chicken?
