Marsha/catwoman: to answer your previous question, yes I can return them, no problems - straight exchange. The yellow ones will be in on Friday.

Thank-You Westie for starting this thread.
Thank-You everyone for your input.
And thank-you Smedders for making me aware that there is a difference in the name and color.

Lancer setting at 3.5

Same here! I checked my husband the other day just to make sure machine was working good and I had to move it to 4.5, he has thick skin, :) he was 1.1. I almost forgot to put it back, I am at 3.9 right now just adjusted my meds.

Hi Colleen,
When I started home testing I also had and sometimes still have a problem obtaining a good drop of blood from the stick especially during the winter.
So, the night prior to testing I wash and dry my hands and then apply a band-aid to the testing area after moistening the gauze pad with water. I use two to be on the safe side and don't remove them until the strip has been inserted into the monitor. Usually the skin will appear lighter and the skin obviously moist.
My Soft clix is set to 5. I wish there was a lancette launcher available without the word nor impression soft creates. Maybe something like tear and gouge;)
Also I was told to soak my hand up to the wrist in warm water prior to testing--didn't change anything.
Anyway happy pricking.
