same when I was in the army here....
there was no time for modesty when getting shaved from neck to toe by two nurses who were winging it 1/2 an hour before theatre

I don't know if I was in a different gown, but I know that before I went in, it was on backwards (opening in front) and when I woke up later that evening, the opening was in the back.
