I had the pleasure of actually getting to MEET geebee (aka Gina) today when she came out to our Whippet Racing meet in Hamilton. Of course, she showed up at lunchtime so didn't get to see a whole lot of racing, but we still had a nice visit, she got to see our "kids" practicing, and I appreciated seeing and talking to someone who's on "the other side". ( I know, I get to talk to you guys all the time, but it was great to actually MEET someone). I'll be getting her (or someone) my phone number so you can give me a harassing (LOL) phone call next weekend from FermiLab.
I don't know how I could be getting through this without the support of my family and friends. Thanks in advance to my VR.com family--you guys are the best!!

I got a VM from Carolyn (Perkicar) today (unfortunately I was in a meeting and missed the call). She was driving through Cincinnati on her way to Columbus and on to Cleveland.

She sounded GREAT. We had a wonderful visit on Saturday and it is obvious she is ready for the surgery and can't wait for it to be over.
