Wise, I'll reconsider, providing that if we are ever at a meal together and sliced maters are served and you must sprinkle them with sugar, you will give me fair warning so I can be excused till you get them et.

a neighbor dropped by last weekend when daughter and I were out, and brought a bag of fresh picked maters. Just hung the bag on a chair on the front porch. Nice, huh?

Girls..Raised..In...The..South...:D ...GRITS....:D ..... If you come South .and buy a piece of property...You will forever be..Oh, you live on so/and/so's land... We bought a farm years ago in a small town..for 5 years, we heard..Oh, you live on Bill Little Farm?..Finally, my age 6 year old son..told this guy..No, I live on my Dad's Farm.....Been living there since I was age 1..:D ...Also, you will find 7 different churches in a 5 mile range.....Church revivals are held every August ..in what they call tent city..(now, just cabins) for 1 week...Not possible to buy one..Handed down from generations..........Old friends getting together with dinner on the ground every night..Then the preaching under the old arbor......I had a friend who brought her cook for the week..:D ..I live near one..vacant for a year..until this week of August.....Our tomatoes are ready for the green picking..Will have..Fried, Green tomatoes tomorrow. Yummy...Dipped in eggs, milk and cormmeal /flour ands fried... Yummy....Could go on/on..but....don't want to flame my Yankee friends..:D Anyone that lives North of Virginia..:p Bonnie

you are right Bon. I bought my home twenty yrs ago from a long owned family property and when people ask me where I live, I simply say 'you know where Miss Mae lived' and they say, on yeah, that's the Walton property.

That happens in Yankee land too, Bon. We had a house in Iron Mountain, Michigan (about as far north as you can go with out hitting permafrost) and people always refered to our house as the Earle House. Now I hear they started to call it the Aldridge Place.

And Ann, you sweet thing, Boston is a great city but Yale is in New Haven, Connecticut. It is Harvard that is in Cambridge just across from Boston.

Knowledge from an ill spent yankee youth, I fear.

Love you both Bon and Ann. Just something about GRITS, they are just so sweet.

B.

Hey, Bill - what a really nice surprise to hear from you. We truly miss you, but know you are busy doin your own thing.

Yeah, I figured I got Yale wrong when I wrote it but pumpheads kinda know they are wrong and somebody will come to the rescue. But we did go there and I sat on a bench on campus grounds and looked at all the beauty there. I have FSU, UWF, UofF, MiamiU, Dolphins, and Bucs down pat, tho.

How are you doing? You sound really great. We GRITS are glad to see you. I bet Bonnie isn't far behind me.
