Well the pharma companies do take good care of the doctors. A buddy of mine owns a restaurant and he told me how once a week a bunch of doctors would come in and eat like a drunken John Belushi , take a load of food home and the whole thing was on a pharmaceutical companies dime.
It's not a good look, is it?

I just read that it's the MK-4 version of K2 that is 'supposed' to prevent 'calcification' in rats. Is anyone taking this formulation?
One if it's benefits may be a steady source of something warfarin-takers are taught to avoid ( spinach, kale etc...) This in turn may mean a higher dose of Warfarin, but a more stable INR. What are others' thoughts?

That subject gives me headache.

I know I am a ******* bush retard and asked Pellicle about that but I still dont understand why take K if W neutralizes K.
You asked Pellicle if you're a bush retard, or was the question in relation to Vitamin K?
Are you sure you're not Australian?

just to be clear, Julien has not asked me to confirm such

well his typing has a distinct French Canadian tone ...

I did French in year 9 and we never learned 'bush retard'. But then again we never learned anything. The teacher was Flemish and kept telling us he didn't like French people.
Anyway, he ended up losing his job after a massive punch up in his class, he couldn't contain. He sat in the corner mumbling 'They're only children, they're only children.'
That was French class in boganland LOL.

Vitamin K2 comes in several subgroups - MK-3, MK-4, MK-7, MK-9, probably more ! It's K2 as either MK-4 and MK-7 that helps prevent calcification. If you take it as MK-4 you have to take it several times a day as MK-4 has a short half life of only a couple of hours, if you take it as MK-7 then once a day is fine as it's half life is a couple of days. Here's a couple of studies going on: http://vitamink2.org/study-examine-vitamin-k2-effect-calcification-needy-patient-population/ and https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/results/NCT01002157 You don't get K2 (either MK-4 or MK-7) from green veggies like kale, they're full of vitamin K1. Here's an article with some food sources of K2: http://chriskresser.com/vitamin-k2-the-missing-nutrient/

First of all thanks for that, gave me a nice chuckle this morning. I get some mk-4 from my multi and most days I take a k2 in mk-7 also.
As for the rats I've noticed lots of similarities between them and some humans I know behaviorally so I assume the biological processes are probably pretty similar.
I took French one year just because I liked this one girl in the class....

Not wanting to get all philosophical and ****, but where would we be without a good laugh?

We would all be at the drug store buying laxative.

I had a good laugh from this story too haha.

My father who is a french from france believes that red wine clean arteries. He has been drinking red wine every day of his life and when he was 75 they look at his arteries and they said that they look like the one of a 20 years old guy.

I've heard that red wine is good for you, but I've also heard that cheese is cholesterol-city and French people smoke too much. I have an older friend who is French and he needed OHS. I have a glass of red wine every day. He provided me with a lot of reassurance before I went in.

Another funny story. After I had my TIA an eye specialist suggested I share a bottle of red wine a day with my wife and take up Bridge. He must have had a few :)

Fine wine, good company, we learned about Vitamin K, French culture, had a good laugh, pissed a few people off, slagged doctors, big pharma. What more can you ask for? And when we invited you over, you were too busy studying ****-eating rats.
