Praline, I am so sorry to hear this news. I too have heard of those who have defied the diagnosis--it seems everyone has, how about your husband joining their ranks? My heart goes out to you and your husband and my thoughts are with your brother as well. May you all muster the strength and wherewithal to prevail.

(((((((((((Praline, Husband, and brother))))))))))))))
Hugs and prayers.

Bless you all during this terrible time. I am hoping that these treatments give relief, and prolong life. There are many new drugs being developed for various cancers, so each day brings added hope.

Praline, please know that I will continue to keep you and your husband in my thoughts and prayers. I pray for relief from the pain for your husband and strength, peace, and comfort for both of you. We are here. LINDA

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, your husband, and your brother. We're sorry for this difficult time you are going through.

Praline...

Continued prayers and hope of some pain relief go out to you , your hubby and brother...

May God give you all strength

Feeling better....

Feeling better....

My husband has started radiation treatments, one Tuesday and one today. He will be going for radiation 5 days a week for 2-3 weeks. I don't know if it is from the increase in pain meds or if it is a result of the radiation but he is not having hardly any pain today. Thank God for small favors!!!!!!
He is very tired though.

Glad to hear that, Praline. The radiation will make him tired, but I hope he continues to be pain free. Hugs and prayers still coming your way.

Praline,
I'm so happy that his pain is diminished. :)
As Phyllis wrote, the radiation will make him tired, but it should only last as long as the treatments do.
Hugs,
Mary

I think it is a bit early for the radiation to be making him tired, altho he will be before it is finished, I expect. My Joe was towards the middle of his 30 days of radiation before it affected him that way. It may be the meds and the state of his health. My thoughts are with you every day.

Praline, I'm so sorry I havent replied to this yet! I've had a bit of a tough week but nothing compared to what you are going through... I just couldnt find the words I wanted for you.

I am so sorry you are going through this nightmare and I am sending positive thoughts and hugs to you!!

Lots of love
Emma

Hi Praline

Glad to hear your hubs is not in such pain......so important. Just remember, girlfriend, ONE DAY at a time.....

I'm praying for you both.

Evelyn

Praline, Sorry to have not responded until now, but you both have been in my thoughts and prayers. I hope your husband's pain is improved. There are many kinds of pain treatments for metestatic disease . If one doen't work another might. Many of the time released narcotics like Oxycontin or MS contin might help . There are also patches that last up to 36 hours. (Fentanyl and Duragesic)If he is uncomfortable or the current drugs make him sleepy or nauseus, please don't hesitate to talk to your health care team. His comfort is paramount. I pray that God will give you strength and peace in this most difficult time. Deb

Dear Praline, I'm hoping the radiation is helping, and that the pain is under control. How is your brother? How are you holding up? Sending a big cyber hug, your valve bro, Brian
