i had the TEE this past friday. due to the wonderful drugs i was given --i don't recall the name of the surgeon i need to see...but -yes-i do need surgery.... will update as i go...i am glad to have found this site! trish

I had a TEE once back in 1995 and although I was sedated I can remember a few things, and the same happened again a couple of weeks ago when I had my bronchoscopy. I suppose you`ll have to ask the doctor the name of the surgeon you`ll have to see now. Keep us posted.

the surgeon's office just called and i am seeing him monday,the 19th. so-it's getting more "real". and alot more scary! once again-i am so happy i found you people here! i'll keep you all updated. trish

It is frightening and so many things to think about. Good you don't have to wait too long for your surgeon's appointment.
