Lisa,

You are in my prayers. Sounds like your doctor made the right decision. My surgeon recommended a tissue valve for me today if a repair was not possible. He thinks the valve could last 15 to 20 years. I look forward to your comments after your surgery.

God Bless,

CP

Thank you so much to all of you. I don't know if I will be able to sleep tonight, I have to be at the hospital at 5:30, so...... who knows maybe I'll get a couple of hours. I'm trying to think of what I need to pack, I know it won't be much, but I feel like I'm running in circles and getting nothing done, except tired. I really do appreciate all the prayers and well wishes. I've got somebody who is going to post for me; if she remembers. I am going to give some contact information to Granbonny, so that she can check in also.

Thanks again to all of you and I do look forward to seeing you on the other side of the mountain.

Sincerely,
Roundsgirl,
Lisa

From another patient of Dr. Svensson's, I too have a tissue valve and the expected life of the valve is now nearly twenty years...

Our thoughts and prayers are going along with you, and we know you will be on the other side of the mountain very soon.....
