Turkey Trot #2

Saturday, I did my second Brighton Turkey Trot 5K. Last year was 30:55 and this year was 28:26. I really wanted to get in under 28:00, but I'll take what I got, especially considering the crowd at the start. I figure 11 out of 23 for my group (men 45-49) isn't bad. About 1000 people came out for what may turn out to have been the absolute nicest day of this autumn.

Make it an annual tradition. For decades I could not get away on T-day morning, but when my kids all grew up I found I could sneak out for a couple hours, so I started doing a local turkey trot. This Thurs. will be my 10th in a row..
