I woke up this morning to see footage of the damage incurred in SE Indiana and N. Kentucky by a deadly twister that struck about 4 am. The area they are showing is where Sherry lives. I don't know about our Kentucky members, but some might be in the same general damage area. Please say a prayer for all and hope that we get word soon that Sherry and others are ok.

They Have My Prayers Mary!!!

They Have My Prayers Mary!!!

I hope everyone effected by the Tornado is alright and their homes spared of damage. Harrybaby:eek:

Unfortunately 15 people (so far) have been killed in Evansville, Indiana. The tornado ran along the Ohio River. We had some awful thunderstorms here in southern Ohio. They even kept my SO up and he is the mellowest person I know (doesn't worry about ANYTHING).

It is a gorgeous day here today but the storms are due back tonight. It is very late in the season for storms this deadly. Would love to know what's going on with the weather lately.

My heart and prayers go out to those affected by the tornado.

Have been worrying about our members in the tornado area- tried to find the thread on locations, but couldn't find it. Our best wishes to all our members in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. Anxious to hear that you are all okay.

What terrible news, i hope all the members and familys are ok. Best wishes to everyone

My nephew, his wife and brand new baby boy live in Evansville. We're still trying to get news on how they're doing. It's taking some time to get word out.

Hope you get some news soon, you must be out of your mind with worry. Paula x

Hi all,

Sherry just called from her cell phone. She is alright!

The tornado literally bounced over her neighborhood. It was a very close miss. She said a good friend lost her home. 15 people are dead. Nearby trailer park and horse farm wiped out.

They just restored temporary electricity. As you can imagine, the outlining areas are a shambles.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Sherry.
Take care

So glad to hear Sherry is well. I'm glad she thought to call you Gina. She knew we'd be worrying.

Hey Gina,
Thanks for letting us know that Sherry and her family are OK, I tried calling her but couldn't get through.
Take Care

I should have posted sooner; everyone is ok. Where they live escaped the brunt of the damage. It's so scary when a tornado strikes at night.

Thanks for asking about us. We in Frankfort, KY are fine. I heard a storm in the middle of the night, but had no idea such a fierce storm was brewing about. We didn't have weather quite that severe at all....our vinyl privacy fence had one connection shaken loose that I was able to pop back into place...and nothing else from here to Louisville showed signs of a bad storm. Sorry to all of those who lost loved ones or had bad damage. We're glad Sherry is okay as well.

Wise & Cindy

Glad Wise and Sherry are Ok ... and Mary's family as well
Sorry to hear about the loss of life
