I'm glad to hear your son is doing well and is in good spirits and your dad is okay too. Take care of yourself - good thoughts for continued recovery for all.

when it rains...........

Congratulations to both. Now your son will understand what grandfather is telling him and vice versa. The rest of you will just have to listen to their new language. After my bypass, I had this long scar all the way down my right let, was sitting at a desk and had on shorts. A man walked up to me and said 'what happened to your leg?' all the while pointing to his own. Nobody else could've related but us. glad to know the two generations will be coming home so soon.

I'm glad to hear your son's surgery went well. I hope he continues having a smooth recovery.

I am glad to hear that your son's surgery went well and hope he can return to his busy life soon -- maybe even resume his baseball again that he had to abandon due to health concerns.

Sorry to hear about your Dad's emergency surgery. What an unusual timing that was. Best wishes to him as well.

Goodness! "Double Whammy" is putting it mildly! Well, at least you got to experience your worrying for both of them at once! Hopefully they will both recover smoothly.

Just curious--any chance all the recent news about Regis Philbin's and David Letteman's experiences that led them to bypass encouraged your dad to attend to his chest pain?

Thanks for posting- you certainly have your plate full! Looking forward to hearing about complete recoveries for both your Dad and your son!
