It’s regular wireless provided by our cable internet provider using Verizon’s network.

Now the cable internet isn’t so cheap. We don’t do cable TV though, so we save there.

does this mean regular cellular? Like 3G and 4G with a SIM?

Cos wireless (to me) means wifi ... unless we're going back to this meaning of wireless

First of all I just commented on what **** already told everyone. He had a stoke. And it turns out my "guess" was correct and **** was not upset. And yes warfarin is a must but it also has risk, these are not mutually exclusive. And no where in my post did I "bash lay man". All I said is that no one including cardiac surgeons have the definitive answers to what exactly to do in valve repair.
You called us laymen, stupid. So wrong to do. We are with specialists and have been in this area for many years of experience. We are not stupid or uneducated on our health issues. Look at your post again. You did call us laymen stupid and uneducated. Sad when people bash people for knowing a lot about their health issues and know how to care for the health. We are very well educated from experience and research. I have been in this arena since before I was born with ah heart defect and murmur. I joined this group for experiences and education shared.
So quit bash us stupid laymen. We are sometimes more educated that the GP.
Have a nice weekend and be nicer to us laymen.

Respectfully, I think you’re misreading Vitdoc’s post. He’s agreeing with us.

Layman is not a negative word. It just means you’re not specially trained or educated in a field. Finance, I’m not a layman. Medical, auto mechanic stuff, plumbing - I know things and can learn things, but I’m a layman. I have no specific training or education in those areas. Well, a couple years of auto shop in high school that’s it.

Pellicle is a man? I could have sworn he was a woman. He ******* and complains like one. Go figure.

I haven't responded on here in a few weeks, I started to have a lot of shortness of breath, chest pain and dizzy spells. I was admitted to ICU and after having heart cath transported downtown to have my valve replaced. I decided to go with Mechanical valve (On-X), as much as I wanted to do the Tavr I also didn't want to be having another surgery in the future. I am two and half weeks post op and feeling great, today was the first day I didnt not have any pain. I am hoping by end of week three to get in my 10,000 steps a day.

Thanks for the update and really good to hear that you're on the other side and doing well!

I decided to go with Mechanical valve (On-X), as much as I wanted to do the Tavr I also didn't want to be having another surgery in the future.

That seems a very reasonable decision in that you indicate that you did not want another surgery down the road.

You taking your own advice would make this site much nicer.

I only responded to this tread because you, as you always seem to do when anyone is happy with their tissue valve for any reason, attacked Hevishot for simply posting a humorous reply saying his valve has lasted longer than his doctor's told him it would.

There was nothing wrong with his post and you had no reason for doing that except your oversized/unjustified ego and your need to be seen.

Great choice. Good luck with your recovery. Every day gets better.

I’m beginning to think that maybe neither of these two fine fellows are really who they say they are.

Hmmmm…

Despite our history, I am friends with Batman. Works at the local grocery. Calls me Superman too, but he should be calling me Clark when I’m out shopping. Oh well.

If you’re talking about @pellicle, I’ve always thought him more of an Aquaman. Maybe because of Oz and the ocean and such. Perhaps @dick0236 can be Captain America!

I thought that might have been D on his last date, the one in blue appears to have small breasts and an abnormally large clitoris, the other guy which I can only assume is him appears to have stuffed socks in his undies, perhaps to compensate for the dude behind him with one eye 🤔🤪😉
