I'm posting this thread today because I have a crazy week coming up and my schedule is all over the place ... I'm just now cooling down from this mornings walk, cooler here but still humid ... I walked every day this past week so that's a total of 21 miles! ... I changed my route and it added more hills so I'm getting more cardio and burning more calories ... keep movng:smile2:

Superbob has done the usual walking of Superdawg; besides that, he has been busy blowing the Cat 4 hurricane off the South Carolina coast. Sorry 'bout the Outer Banks of North Carolina, which has the misfortune to jut right out in the Atlantic Ocean. Usually, it's fortunate to be out there -- a beautiful place. But OBX gets slammed by a lot of big storms.

Seriously, I hope and pray everybody will be okay there and also farther up the East Coast as Earl moves north.

Just the daily walking to the train station back and forth. Nothing big to report. No outdoor activities this week just been very hot.
I am gonna start using the treadmill next week. No more slacking off.

Yep, same here praying everybody will be okay with Earl moving in.

It appears that walking three miles EVERY day does not allow you to eat everything in sight ... I will have to figure this out:confused2:

Ten miles a day might do it. Then again, you might kill yourself in the process and, thus have less time to eat everything in sight!

Yeah - I walked three times at lunch this week (two miles approx each day) Sure does tire me out lately - but I did it! I haven't gotten to Curves though so I fear any weight I'm losing could be my lean muscle mass I'd been working on so hard. Just no energy to spare with 10 hr work days - gotta do better.

I road my stationary bicycle monday, tuesday and wednesday. I missed this morning. I hope I can do it in the morning, but I have to be at work early.

Debbie

Sounds like everyone is doing great ... any exercise is a big help ... walking the dog, back and forth to the train ... I also think we need to be sure and listen to our bodies and not over do ... lets keep moving but remember that unrealistic expectations can wreck our plans ... that being said, I'm taking the day off from walking:biggrin2:
