I walked 4 times this week for a total of 12 miles ... I need to get back with it today, don't want to break the habit I think I have formed ... my foot / ankle is better, I think the heat and taking a break has really helped .... Keep moving:thumbup:

That sounds great cooker. I road my stationary bicycle 5 times last week. I am hoping for 4 times this week plus 2 days of cardiac rehab.

Did my usual routine at my gym last week....3 visits of 1+ hours with 4.5 miles on treadmill and 6 sets on 14 weight machines:smile2:. Like Cooker, I have my annual Echo and Cardio exam this week and I want to look good for the Echo tech:cool2:.

and to NormaJean....c'mon that's cheatin':biggrin2:. It's not fair too be that computer savvy:rolleyes2:. I still have trouble with the "START" button:redface2:.

Cooker, you're doing great. You are wanting to get back to daily walking and that is good.
Hope the ankle gets better real soon.

I got my regular 21 miles for I didn't do the yard last week. Doing the summer I got into skipping walking on yard day.

Had my annual last week, good report. Didn't get to see my cardiologist for he had an emergency at the hospital. His Nurse Practitioner notice I did my own INR testing/dosing and thought that was really something. They must not have many patients that self dose.

Hang in there, Cooker my man, er chimp. ;) I hope there is nothing seriously wrong with your ankle. I will only volunteer that assorted aches and back/knee pains typically accompany me on my walks with Superdawg but this morning on our long two-lake walk, they pretty much went away. Maybe the lowered humidity lifted a weight. Anyway, good fortune to us all on our continuing journeys!

Wednesday .... I have taken the week off, so far ... my foot was really bad the first part of the week so took the Gels out of my shoes and using moderate heat and resting it as much as I can ... yesterday was a good day, not much pain so I hope resting it will be the key ... I am on my feet most of the day but walking is my time to reflect and meditate, I will start back next week and see what happens ... keep moving:thumbup:
