So I just need to remember this is just for a short time

correct, it's all temporary. this helped me get through recovery on the things I couldn't do post AVR. but as the days, weeks went past it all got better and easier and soon enough you're doing activities like you were pre surgery.

for me I'm coming up to 6 months post AVR. the surgery and recovery isn't front of mind anymore, until I come back here and post but its a good thing giving back to others about to go through it or are fresh into recovery
