I taught middle school Theatre Arts for 5 years, and have been an elementary school librarian for the last two (will be starting my 3rd on 8/20).
I actually prefer being a libraraian (the stress level is different), but would rather be in middle school (yes, I realize that means I'm crazy). I think it helps that I taught drama. They were all naturals, and given full permission to be dramatic. I am getting used to elementary, though. And there are aspects that I like. Just could do without those germy kindergarteners (well, one-on-one they're okay, but when you have 30 at a time they drive me crazy and take a LOT of energy!).
