Take the rain--please!

We're getting drenched here in the Missouri bootheel. Schools in the region have canceled class due to flooding. It's been the wettest October on record, and we have another day to add to the total.
Course I'd rather have rain than the snow they're sporting to the west of us.

I heard about the Colorado snow.....ACKKK....it's too early for that white stuff.
And I don't want your rain either, I'll settle for our gray skies and damp fallen leaves.

I am just back from a short trip to Spain. The weather was hot and sunny and we went swimming in the sea every day.
I am now back home in Paris which is cold and overcast.
