Surgery - What Day of the Week is Best?

I had my second one at 7:00am on a Sunday! And I don't think the team of junior docs working with my surgeon ever got a day off . . . .

February 28th is a great day for heart surgery. February is National Heart Month - may as well get in at the tail end, like I did. My surgery was supposed to be on Tuesday, March 1 but they called the week before and asked if I could be ready on Monday, February 28. My only question was "What time?"

Friday Survivors' Club? Oh yeah, I had to check my calendar, but my AVR was on a Friday. I didn't even think anything of it, except that everyone was able to come and visit me in hospital because it was the weekend...
